La Naranja comes to us from second-generation producer Elvis Tineo in the El Diamante region of Jaén, Peru.
Elvis owns 3 hectares of land (about 7.5 acres) where he grows Bourbon, Catuai, and Caturra varietals of coffee. He has been investing in his coffee by improving the quality of picking and experimenting with different pre-fermentation and fermentation methods.
The lush fauna of this region, as well as its rich and stable soil, are known for producing standout coffees.
We love this coffee for its notable fruit-forward profile and pronounced acidity.
