Burundi, Turihamwe

From the Ngozi region of Burundi, this delicious single-origin is the result of work from the talented women at Burundi’s first washing station built and owned by women farmers.

These farmers have been able to consolidate premiums earned through our importing partners at JNP Coffee to create an investment fund called Turihamwe Turashobora, using it to build their own wet mill in 2019, and grow their farming operations.

Meaning “together” in Kirundi, Turihamwe offers bright citrus acidity, sweet candy and plum flavors, with a subtle herbal rosemary fragrance.
